On this web page you can access John Taylor's newsletters
and other teaching material. Note in particular
THE PRACTICE
section of the first newsletter.
It's a short, clear exposition of
John's teaching, and a taste of things to come.
There are three components to THE PRACTICE. These are: the
Four Principles, Meditation, and Scripture. The Four Principles
are presented in detail on
John's Website and you can access a
printable version of the Four Principles
here.
The scripture that John is currently using is called
The Faith Mind Poem. It is an ancient scripture
thought to have been written by Seng T'san in the sixth century.
The version provided in the above link was translated by
Richard B. Clarke.
This is a moving, spiritual work and is recommended for
reading, reflection, and meditation.
It is particularly noteworthy that John's teaching is focused on
having us
experience the truth for ourselves rather than just
presenting information. Not easy to explain this distinction, and
to get an understanding it is best to attend one of John's Satsangs.
(You're invited! Go to our
Events page to see John's schedule in Colorado.)
Sign up to receive John's newsletters in your Email by simply clicking on
the [Join Our Mailing List!] button on any of the archived Newsletters.
You can also visit
John's website to join the mailing list.
We will be including a button on one of our regular pages soon. This
and other upgrades to this site are planned for the near future.
John is also scheduling
Monthly Converence Calls
and we hope to include access to recordings of these calls on this page.
(Access to a given call will be limited to those participating in that call.)
One of the benefits of these calls are that John's followers from Canada
and New Mexico have also been participating -- and it's nice to hear what
impact John's teaching is having outside of Colorado.
The schedule for conference calls is provided in the Newsletters.
